December 22nd Added three pictures of The New World. MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR 2006 TO ALL THEWLISIANS AND THE THEWLISES-FAMILY! Thank you for this year, it has been amazing. We've suffered some back blows but have survived everything. This year has been very special to me, because David himself visited and contacted me and sent his love to all his fans. I've been honoured that so many people have asked me to affiliate with them - I am sorry that sometimes my response may take a while. November 20th As you have propably noticed, the forums are back. My friend Ville has fixed everything once again. The back up is from last month, but at least we didn't lose more than that. The forum has been updated to Simple Machines Forum which I personally prefer to use. If you have any problems, feel free to contact me! I paid my friend for the work he did yesterday and if anyone would like to participate, I'd appreciate any donations through PayPal. You can see the button at the bottom of the page.

November 19th As I wrote earlier, couple of updates vanished. I have been asked to post the links to couple of articles again, so here they are: Friel's Gory Birth and Friel and Thewlis stay close with video camera. In other news, I'm still thinking about what to do with the forums but I assure it will be back pretty soon, the old one or a brand new one. I'll also have a new layout for the mainsite. We're still at Influxhost servers but with all the problems they have had almost monthly, I'll definitely be moving next year. More about that later.

November 18th Servers crashed, lost the forum, gallery and a couple of updates. I am not sure what I am going to do about the forum yet. I have a back up, but my friends who know a lot more about these things say it could be better to just let the old forum go, since it has been batched up over and over again, several times this year. I am sure that if we would start all over again, it wouldn't take long to have lots of interesting conversations and threads again. We have the temporary board where you can express your opinion on the matter. You can also e-mail me or use the guestbook. I think it could be wise to have a Simple Machines forum this time, it's safer and better to use. But then, two years worth of posts would be lost. As I said, I'll think about it.

October 17th A quick, non-David-related note: If anyone's tried contacting me via e-mail in the past couple of days, please re-send the mail. My e-mail hasn't worked since Saturday and I only got it fixed now.

October 14th 33 screencaps of Kingdom of Heaven in the gallery. Pictures of the extra features on the dvd will follow, so keep checking! But beware, there are some spoilery images.

October 6th A nice interview of Anna can be found here. It explains why Grace's last name is Friel. She's called Gracie Ellen Mary Friel - Gracie because I always liked Gracie Fields, who's from Rochdale like me, and Friel because David's name on his passport is Wheeler because of when he did his Equity card - his mum's Thewlis and his dad's Wheeler, it's all complex. So she's Friel, and David's happy with that, and if we get married, we'll all be Thewlises. Ellen and Mary are after my grandmothers. Thanks to Qwertyuiop from our forum for the link!

October 5th The back up is running, but posts between September 25th and Tuesday evening are missing. I am truly sorry about that. The hacker has obviously been banned and I have posted a statement in the News-section. I have also edited my affiliates list for an apparent reason.

October 4th The forum has been hacked, unfortunately by someone I considered a nice pal of mine. But everyone calm down. I don't know why someone is taking some kind of revenge on me, since I have never harrassed or lied to anyone, but things will be alright. I wouldn't spend much time stressing about this if I were you, but thank you for everyone's support. Unfortunately I do have to work every day and I'm also ill at the moment, so there only so much I can do this very second. I obviously don't have as much freetime on my hands as 16-year-olds. Plus I only found out about this five minutes ago. But I'll contact people who can help. I have a back up from last week and all the posts and user accounts will be saved.

September 28th A few heads up: Mike Leigh's Naked is now released on DVD in U.S. and Canada. DVD Features include a commentary by David. You can order it from Amazon.com, but remember, it's in R1 format only. Kingdom of Heaven is due to release on October 3rd and will be available worldwide.

August 11th Along with other actors such as Meryl Streep, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Hope Davis, David will appear in two "sound plays" produced by Theater of the New Ear at UCLA. Read more here. I also have three new scans by Kelly and a new affiliate, Zoe Lucker Online.

July 29th I love orange! And since the forum and the gallery have been through a complete make over, I thought it would be logical to change the mainsite's look as well. Using my favorite photoshoot pics of David, of course.

July 26th The server this site is on has been broken since last week. All data was lost, and that is why I had to upload the mainsite again. The forum is gone, but I have a back up from about two weeks ago. Unfortunately I think that the back up is from time before baby Gracie was born, and therefore all the congratulations are gone :( Also the gallery has been lost. I am trying to get them back online during this week, but I can't promise you anything. I am so sorry, although there's nothing I could have done about this. I hope you all understand and will be patient while I try getting the forums and gallery back!

July 10th CONGRATULATIONS to David and Anna who have welcomed their baby into the world this weekend! No details are released yet, but according to The Leaky Cauldron the mother and the baby are doing fine. Edited to add: TLC just posted that David and Anna are happy parents of a baby girl, Gracie. Once again all the best for the whole family from all of us at DTO!

June 26th I am so sorry I haven't updated lately. It's been a very busy time for me, since I've started a new job and have been away from home almost every weekend. March 9th I have received a letter from David thanking all his fans. You can read the letter here. Many thanks to David for being so kind as to contact us! It means a lot to me that he approves the site and appreciates his fans this much. I can confirm that the letter is real. There are a couple of threads on the forums where you can send your greetings to him (search for under David Thewlis -> general).

March 3rd As you can see, I've been in a layout changing mood today. A new layout on the mainsite and on the forums. All I can say is.. hope you like the green. Note: On the forums, it is possible to change the forum layout in your profile.

January 11th I thought I'd change the layout, loved the old one soooo much, but maybe it was time for change. This one's very simple, made it myself, back to the green. Let's see what I can come up with next, I hope you can stand this one until then.. :)
